Balance is Vagheggi’s professional cosmetic line dedicated to seborrhoeic, oily and impure skin, created to target the visible imperfections associated with excess sebum, including enlarged pores, blackheads and blemishes. More than simply mattifying the complexion, Balance takes a targeted, balancing approach to impure skin, helping to regulate sebum while promoting a smoother, clearer and more refined appearance.
At the heart of the line is an innovative Purifying Complex, developed by Vagheggi’s Research & Development team through a powerful synergy of pure molecules and plant extracts. Designed to address the multiple characteristics of impure skin, the complex works to rebalance the skin and support a healthy microbiota, while helping to reduce excess sebum by up to 41%.

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
Purifying complex
A blend of Manuka Oil, lipophilic extracts of Black Pepper, and Magnolia (Leptospermum Scoparium, Piper Nigrum, Magnolia Officinalis) that effectively addresses all manifestations of impure and acne-prone skin. It provides essential support for the natural balance between the skin and its microbiota, significantly reduces bacterial biofilm, inhibits the growth of virulent strains of Cutibacterium acnes bacteria, and contributes to lowering sebum production, comedones, pustules, and pimples.
Encapsulated salicylic acid
This has antimicrobial and exfoliating effects. The patented encapsulated form makes it fully soluble and, therefore, more stable and effective. It has antimicrobial and keratolytic effects, addressing imperfections associated with acne.
Colloidal sulfur
A stable and active form of sulfur that allows its use at functional and well-tolerated percentages, with a targeted impact on imperfections associated with acne (pimples and redness)
EPS (exopolysaccharide)
A high molecular weight polymer primarily composed of sugars, obtained through sustainable cultivation in a bioreactor with complete water recycling. It has a unique and novel structure with mattifying properties.
Niacinamide
Regulates sebum production and has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties.
Liquid shea butter, Shorea Stenoptera (illipe) butter
Nourishing properties, suitable for combination skin.
Sodium hyaluronate: super hydrating.
Non-comedogenic lightweight oils
Nourishing properties, suitable for combination skin.
CLINICAL TESTING
In vitro, microbiological and in vivo testing demonstrated significant improvements in the key characteristics of oily and impure skin, including excess sebum, inflammation, bacterial biofilm and the appearance of blemishes.
Measurable Skin Benefits
Clinical testing showed:
- Up to 41% reduction in sebum production following an 8-week treatment with the Purifying Complex, tested on 20 volunteers aged 17–42 with mild to moderate skin imperfections.
- 65% of volunteers reported feeling less oily after just 1 week, increasing to 80% after 8 weeks.
